A Zero Trust principle that requires ongoing verification of user identity and access privileges throughout a session, rather than only at initial login. It continuously evaluates risk signals such as user behavior, device posture, location, and data sensitivity to dynamically adjust access permissions in real-time.

مبدأ انعدام الثقة الذي يتطلب التحقق المستمر من هوية المستخدم وامتيازات الوصول طوال الجلسة، بدلاً من التحقق فقط عند تسجيل الدخول الأولي. يقيم باستمرار إشارات المخاطر مثل سلوك المستخدم ووضع الجهاز والموقع وحساسية البيانات لتعديل أذونات الوصول ديناميكياً في الوقت الفعلي.
Practical Example
A Saudi healthcare provider implementing continuous authentication monitors user activities accessing patient records protected under PDPL. If a user's behavior deviates from normal patterns or attempts to access unusually large volumes of personal data, the system automatically requires re-authentication or restricts access, supporting NCA ECC-4 (Access Control) compliance.
