🤖 AI Executive Summary

CVE-2014-1761 is a critical memory corruption vulnerability in Microsoft Word with a CVSS score of 9.0. Active exploits exist allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by convincing users to open specially crafted Word documents. This legacy vulnerability poses significant risks to organizations still running unpatched systems.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
1. Immediately upgrade all Microsoft Office installations to the latest supported versions with security patches applied, prioritizing systems handling sensitive data or in critical sectors.
2. Implement application whitelisting and disable macros by default, configure Microsoft Office to open documents in Protected View mode, and deploy email security gateways to scan and block malicious attachments.
3. Conduct security awareness training focused on phishing and malicious document threats, establish incident response procedures for suspected exploitation, and perform vulnerability assessments to identify remaining vulnerable systems.
