🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Impact Assessment
This vulnerability poses severe risk to Saudi banking sector (SAMA-regulated institutions), government agencies (NCA oversight), and critical infrastructure operators. Financial institutions using Chrome/Edge for customer-facing applications and internal operations face elevated risk of credential theft and unauthorized transactions. Government entities and healthcare providers (MOH) are at risk of data exfiltration. Telecom operators (STC, Mobily) and energy sector (ARAMCO) face potential operational disruption. The vulnerability's ease of exploitation via malicious websites makes it particularly dangerous in Saudi Arabia's high-internet-penetration environment.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
IMMEDIATE ACTIONS:
1. Identify all systems running Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera) across your organization
2. Disable or restrict access to untrusted websites immediately as a temporary measure
3. Implement browser isolation technology for high-risk users

PATCHING GUIDANCE:
1. Update Google Chrome to version 104.0.5112.79 or later immediately
2. Update Microsoft Edge to version 104.0.1293.47 or later
3. Update Opera to version 90.0 or later
4. Deploy patches via Mobile Device Management (MDM) for BYOD devices
5. Prioritize patching for systems accessing financial, government, and healthcare applications

COMPENSATING CONTROLS (if immediate patching not possible):
1. Implement web content filtering to block known malicious domains
2. Deploy endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
3. Enable browser sandboxing features
4. Restrict browser usage to approved applications only
5. Implement network segmentation for critical systems

DETECTION RULES:
1. Monitor for unusual Intent-based inter-process communication patterns
2. Alert on unexpected browser process spawning or privilege escalation
3. Track suspicious navigation to unfamiliar domains
4. Monitor for abnormal data exfiltration attempts
5. Log all browser extension installations and modifications
