📄 Description (English)

AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Versions 3.13.2 and below allow a request to be crafted in such a way that an AIOHTTP server's memory fills up uncontrollably during processing. If an application includes a handler that uses the Request.post() method, an attacker may be able to freeze the server by exhausting the memory. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.3.

🤖 AI Executive Summary

AIOHTTP versions 3.13.2 and below contain a critical memory exhaustion vulnerability (CWE-770) that allows attackers to craft malicious requests causing uncontrolled memory consumption. Applications using the Request.post() method are vulnerable to server freezing through memory exhaustion attacks. A patch is available in version 3.13.3.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
1. Immediately upgrade AIOHTTP to version 3.13.3 or later across all production and development environments running affected versions 3.13.2 and below
2. Implement rate limiting and request size restrictions at the application and infrastructure layers to mitigate memory exhaustion attacks until patching is complete
3. Monitor server memory usage patterns and configure alerts for abnormal memory consumption spikes, and review application handlers using Request.post() for additional input validation controls
