🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
1. IMMEDIATE ACTIONS:
- Identify all Qsync Central instances in your environment and document current versions
- Review user access logs for suspicious authentication patterns or data access anomalies
- Restrict Qsync Central access to trusted networks using firewall rules
- Disable Qsync Central if not immediately required for operations

2. PATCHING GUIDANCE:
- Upgrade all Qsync Central installations to version 5.0.0.4 (released 2026/01/20) or later
- Test patches in non-production environments first
- Schedule maintenance windows for production upgrades
- Verify patch installation by checking version numbers post-upgrade

3. COMPENSATING CONTROLS (if immediate patching not possible):
- Implement network segmentation to restrict Qsync Central access
- Enable multi-factor authentication for all Qsync user accounts
- Monitor and log all Qsync Central API calls and file access
- Implement IP whitelisting for Qsync Central access
- Disable remote access to Qsync Central if not required

4. DETECTION RULES:
- Monitor for unusual memory access patterns or core dumps from Qsync processes
- Alert on format string patterns in Qsync API requests (look for %x, %s, %n sequences)
- Track failed authentication attempts followed by successful logins
- Monitor for data exfiltration from Qsync storage locations
- Log all administrative actions within Qsync Central

Qsync Central
Qsync
Qsync Central

Qsync
Qsync
Qsync Central
