🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
Immediate Actions:
1. Inventory all FrameMaker installations across the organization, particularly in sensitive departments (engineering, compliance, government affairs)
2. Restrict file opening permissions and implement user awareness training to avoid opening suspicious FrameMaker documents from untrusted sources
3. Disable FrameMaker if not actively required in critical systems

Compensating Controls (until patch available):
1. Implement application whitelisting to control FrameMaker execution
2. Use sandboxing or isolated environments for opening untrusted FrameMaker files
3. Apply principle of least privilege to FrameMaker process execution
4. Monitor memory access patterns and implement Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

Detection Rules:
1. Monitor for FrameMaker process crashes or abnormal memory access patterns
2. Alert on FrameMaker opening files from external/email sources
3. Track heap memory allocation anomalies in FrameMaker processes
4. Log all FrameMaker document access in sensitive directories

Patching Strategy:
1. Subscribe to Adobe security bulletins for patch availability
2. Plan immediate deployment of patches upon release
3. Test patches in non-production environments first
