🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Impact Assessment
Saudi organizations in creative industries, government media departments, and large enterprises using Adobe Bridge for digital asset management face significant risk. Most impacted sectors include: Government (media and communications departments under NCA oversight), Banking (marketing and communications divisions), Energy sector (ARAMCO and subsidiaries for technical documentation), Telecommunications (STC and regional operators), and Healthcare institutions managing medical imaging assets. The requirement for user interaction limits mass exploitation but increases insider threat risk, particularly concerning for organizations handling sensitive visual content.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
Immediate Actions:
1. Inventory all Adobe Bridge installations across the organization (versions 16.0.2, 15.1.4 and earlier)
2. Disable or restrict Adobe Bridge usage until patches are available, or implement file-level restrictions
3. Issue security advisory to all users warning against opening Bridge files from untrusted sources
4. Implement email gateway rules to block suspicious file attachments that could trigger Bridge

Compensating Controls:
1. Deploy application whitelisting to restrict Bridge execution to authorized users only
2. Implement file integrity monitoring on systems running Bridge
3. Use endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions to monitor for suspicious process behavior from Bridge
4. Restrict file access permissions to prevent malicious files from being placed in accessible locations
5. Enable Windows Defender Exploit Guard or equivalent endpoint protection with heap spray detection

Detection Rules:
1. Monitor for Bridge.exe spawning unexpected child processes (cmd.exe, powershell.exe, rundll32.exe)
2. Alert on unusual memory access patterns or heap corruption indicators from Bridge processes
3. Track file access to Bridge temporary directories and cache locations
4. Monitor network connections initiated by Bridge to non-standard ports

Patching Strategy:
1. Subscribe to Adobe security bulletins for patch availability
2. Establish expedited patching timeline once patches are released
3. Test patches in isolated environment before enterprise deployment
Bridge

Bridge
Bridge

1. مراقبة Bridge.exe لتوليد عمليات فرعية غير متوقعة (cmd.exe, powershell.exe, rundll32.exe)
Bridge
