📄 Description (English)

OpenClaw before 2026.4.14 contains an authorization context reuse vulnerability in collect-mode queue batches that allows messages from different senders to inherit the final sender's authorization context. Attackers can exploit this by sending multiple queued messages to drain batches using a more privileged sender's context, causing earlier messages to execute with elevated permissions.

🤖 AI Executive Summary

CVE-2026-43535 is a privilege escalation vulnerability in OpenClaw's queue batch processing that allows attackers to reuse authorization contexts across multiple messages. By exploiting improper context handling in collect-mode batches, an attacker can execute messages with elevated privileges of a more privileged sender. While currently unpatched and without public exploits, this vulnerability poses a significant risk to systems processing batched messages with varying privilege levels.

📄 Description (Arabic)

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Impact Assessment
This vulnerability primarily impacts Saudi organizations using OpenClaw for message queue processing, particularly in banking and financial services (SAMA-regulated entities), government agencies (NCA oversight), and telecommunications providers (STC, Mobily). The privilege escalation risk is critical for systems handling sensitive transactions, regulatory reporting, and inter-departmental communications where authorization context integrity is essential. Healthcare organizations using OpenClaw for patient data exchange and energy sector entities managing SCADA communications are also at elevated risk.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
Immediate Actions:
1. Identify all OpenClaw deployments in your environment and document versions prior to 2026.4.14
2. Audit queue batch configurations to identify collect-mode implementations
3. Review access logs for suspicious batch message patterns or privilege escalation attempts
4. Implement network segmentation to restrict OpenClaw queue access to trusted systems only

Compensating Controls (until patch available):
1. Disable collect-mode batch processing if operationally feasible; use sequential processing instead
2. Implement strict input validation on all queued messages before execution
3. Deploy message-level authorization checks independent of context inheritance
4. Enable comprehensive audit logging for all batch operations with sender/context tracking
5. Implement rate limiting on batch submissions to detect anomalous patterns

Detection Rules:
1. Alert on messages executing with authorization context different from message sender
2. Monitor for rapid batch submissions from low-privilege accounts followed by high-privilege execution
3. Track authorization context changes within batch processing pipelines
4. Flag collect-mode batches containing messages from multiple senders

Patching:
1. Subscribe to OpenClaw security advisories for version 2026.4.14 release
2. Establish testing environment to validate patch compatibility before production deployment
3. Plan maintenance window for immediate patching upon availability
