📄 Description (English)

A security flaw has been discovered in Tenda F451 1.0.0.7_cn_svn7958. This vulnerability affects the function fromqossetting of the file /goform/qossetting. Performing a manipulation of the argument qos results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.

🤖 AI Executive Summary

A critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Tenda F451 router firmware (version 1.0.0.7_cn_svn7958) affecting the QoS settings function. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by manipulating the 'qos' parameter, with public exploit code available. This poses significant risk to Saudi organizations relying on Tenda routers for network infrastructure, particularly in SMEs and branch offices.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Impact Assessment
High impact on Saudi SMEs, government branch offices, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions that commonly deploy Tenda F451 routers. Banking sector branches and ARAMCO facilities using these routers for network segmentation face critical risk. Telecom providers (STC, Mobily, Zain) offering Tenda-based CPE to customers are at risk. Potential for widespread compromise of network perimeters, lateral movement into internal networks, and data exfiltration. Government entities under NCA oversight face compliance violations if compromised.

🔧 Remediation Steps (English)
IMMEDIATE ACTIONS:
1. Identify all Tenda F451 devices in your network using network scanning tools (Nmap, Shodan)
2. Isolate affected devices from critical networks if patch unavailable
3. Implement network segmentation to restrict access to router management interfaces
4. Change default credentials on all Tenda devices immediately
5. Monitor router logs for suspicious QoS configuration attempts

PATCHING GUIDANCE:
1. Check Tenda support portal for firmware updates beyond version 1.0.0.7_cn_svn7958
2. If patch available, schedule immediate firmware upgrade during maintenance windows
3. Backup router configuration before patching
4. Test patches in lab environment first

COMPENSATING CONTROLS (if no patch available):
1. Restrict access to /goform/qossetting endpoint using WAF/IPS rules
2. Implement network ACLs to limit management access to authorized IPs only
3. Disable remote management features if not required
4. Deploy IPS signatures blocking malformed QoS parameter submissions
5. Monitor for CVE-2026-6134 exploitation attempts in firewall logs

DETECTION RULES:
1. Alert on HTTP POST requests to /goform/qossetting with oversized 'qos' parameters
2. Monitor for unusual process execution from router processes
3. Track failed authentication attempts to router management interface
4. Flag unexpected firmware version changes
5. Monitor outbound connections from router to external IPs
(Nmap, Shodan)
