تعتمد الثغرة على آلية غير آمنة لتحميل المكتبات الديناميكية في VBA مما يسمح للمهاجمين بتنفيذ أكواد عشوائية. يمكن استغلال هذه الثغرة من خلال مستندات Office مصابة يتم إرسالها عبر البريد الإلكتروني أو المشاركة. التأثير يشمل الوصول الكامل للنظام والبيانات الحساسة.
